**** OFFICIAL FUEL ****
John's Convenience Store in Pauline is the official fuel station used as a fuel base line per TKQMA rules (89-octane
only). The first race of the month is qualifying. If fuel needs to be tested, as a courtesy, please have the fuel tested
before qualifying starts. No air filters may be used during qualifying. All cars will be weighed after qualifying, heat, and
feature races.
**** TRANSPONDERS NOW REQUIRED ****
TKQMA started a transponder system in 2007. All participants will be required to have a transponder mounted on
their car. You can purchase one or rent one on a weekly basis. Please contact Willie Urish if you would like to
purchase one or for more info. Transponder info can be found under the TKQMA Rules tab on this website.
**** RACECEIVERS ALSO REQUIRED ****
TKQMA has also voted in the use of the QMA approved Raceceiver one way communication device at all local race
events. All participants must have their own earpieces, which cost about $6, however all TKQMA racers will receive
their first earpiece for FREE. If you show up to the track without one, you will be required to buy one for $6. Please
contact a board member for more info.
