TKQMA Meeting at Track

Present: Calderwood, B. Dultmeier, Edwards, C. Ellis, Glann, Howard (Lawrence), Mahan, Manthe, Oldham, Paine,
C. Smith, Swader, M. Urish, W. Urish, S. Waisner, Weber, Wettengel/Still
Following a discussion of TKQMA lack of participation in Regions Six races in Texas the following motion was made,
seconded, and unanimously approved:
The TKQMA will request a realignment of QMA region boundaries to move the state of Kansas into Region Seven
effective for the 2009 season.
It was noted the absent Bailey, Howard (Belton), Watkins, and Wilcox families have conveyed their support for this
motion also.
It was informally agreed that the committee be formed to begin drafting a race series schedule and rules with the Elko,
MN club. This committee is Jennifer Oldham, Chris Swader, and Will Urish.
A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously approved to authorize reimbursement for expenses of up to $750 to
Stephanie Edwards for a Kids’ Fest event at the Kansas Expocenter scheduled in November. Stephanie will seek
volunteers to staff this event.
